Minimalism for Your house

If you have already bored yourself from luxury of the classic style, art-deco and pop-art, now you can make an attempt to be surprised by minimalism.

Minimalism is still the one thing that designers are yet able to give as a surprise. The main aspiration to decoration from a generation to generation is "written" in the human nature of our people. That is why principle of absence of superfluous details is not far popular among compatriots. And there is a chance to create an original interior in the house or apartment, which was not repeated thousands of times before. This style remains extraordinarily popular in the West. Its "golden age" was on the peak of "epoch of The Beatles", when there was contrasting of pomposity and luxury in vogue.

Minimalism goes with its "roots" to the interiors of ancient Celt, age-old the East, Japanese interiors of dark ages, asceticism of Sparta. This is a combination of eclectic and post-modern.

Minimalism became a separate style in the early 20th of the ХХ century, born in the architectural institute "Baukhaus" in Germany, where by then impertinent and advanced designers were going. From that place came the tradition of aesthetics generated a new style.

And all the same, Russia appeared by one of the first countries, where minimalism was "just in time". Here already the "builders of communism" tried to spread minimalism, to contrast a "new way" of life to withstanding "narrow-minded" tastes in an interior. The Melnikov's House in the Kryvoarbatskiy Side-Street in Moscow is the typical standard of minimalism of that period of time, more precisely, constructivism of 20-30th in XX century. Minimalism in ХХ age became character of protest against "informative garbage", surplus and consumerism. People began to dream of cleanness, rest and space, in which it is possible to feel internal harmony and submerge in thought.

Space, light and most necessary functional objects is this those "three branches", on which was founded modern interior in style of minimalism. And main from these is space. Freedom of distances allows to designate the accents of internal apartment. And these is rather important, if it is possible intentionally to use itself in facilities of expression. If an apartment is small, from a few little rooms, for creation of minimalist's decisions it is desirable to unite some rooms with each other. Absence in the apartment of "blind" areas which would not be looked over from some point of the flat is extremely substantial.
