Decor by fabrics

In minimalism there is a wide use of fabrics for the decoration. There are 2 approaches: successful - if portiere draperies, window shades, cuffs for arm-chairs and bedspread for the padded stools and sofas are already inlaid in a designer project; and second, less successful - when textile drapery stands as a "make-up for a house". From this point of view rate decor for some reason is adopted as method to cover faults in placing of batteries, violation of symmetry at placing of window and door apertures, or other failures of architects.

Meantime, decor by fabrics is one of most substantial components for all the composition of interior. This background helps to draw furniture and all other articles of interior, which you will live in. Fabrics even can have influence on speculative perception of sizes and proportions of the house.

In labor of designer there is mass of "secrets" which are needed to be taken into account. About some we will tell you today. Native destiny of window shades, portieres and covers is defense of internal environment of habitation from a different external and internal influencing: curious looks outside, surplus of a sun, noise contamination and excessive draughts. Thus, decorative materials possess all the same different functions in a warm and cold season. Therefore it is quite not bad to get at least 2 sets of things from fabrics for the personal house. Summer set - from thin, but dense, and winter set - from downy, heavy, nap fabrics.

Such seasonal change of window shades, window curtains and portieres, besides, an interior will settle periodically to diversify, bringing in those modifications. And by the way, why not enter good tradition to "change clothes" yet in a spring as well as in autumn?

It is important to co-ordinate a structure, color and pattern of fabric with aim, sizes of apartment, its orientation, luminosity, treatment, by a form and sizes of the furniture, by the characteristic colors of other fabrics, carpets etc.
