Light and color in minimalism

It is said that minimalism is "a style of emptiness". Although this assertion is some kind of mistake, because there is all necessity for life in such situation, simply essence of such interior placed on separateness and is abandoned space free for light and air. Minimalism in an interior will demand sufficiency of light. Exactly light assists to creation of sense of "space", considerable space, where you feel rather "flying", than in a "comfort". Minimalism does not take away throws, teasing palettes. For minimalism where light is in half-tones, cleanness, calmness in colors are better: black, white, cream, grey.

Minimalism fights against surplus in the question of treatment. If there is a wall, than it is ideally painted and solid; ceilings must create an ideal plane; minimum of "stitches" in the floor by wide and long boards at laying a floor are provided.

Treatment of apartments needs to spare the special attention. As minimalism does not stand surplus decoration, walls, ceiling and floor, become decoration of the house inside.

Minimalism, as not a single other style of interior (eliminating, perhaps, high-tech), is receptive to ultra-modern facilities. The variety of substitutes and extraordinary materials allow extending the spectrum of application in apartments, and in making of furnishings, and in production of accessories.
